District 2

Karen Liot Hill is a 19-year City Councilor and the former Mayor of Lebanon. For the past 7 years, she has also served as Grafton County Treasurer. She has been a champion for economic vitality and affordable housing, a leader in the fight against climate change, and an advocate for social justice.

Karen is running for Executive Council District 2, which includes 4 of New Hampshire's 13 cities - Claremont, Concord, Keene, and Lebanon - and 77 towns across 6 counties. With nearly two decades of public service, Karen is ready to be a leader on the Executive Council - exercising oversight for taxpayers of state spending, ensuring the qualifications of nominees to state boards, committees, department heads, and the judiciary, and advocating for District 2 infrastructure priorities in the state's 10-year highway plan. She will be a champion for progressive values - including access to abortion - on the Executive Council.
